Crane Operator



A reputable construction company in Nizwa is seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials at various construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes, such as mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, according to job requirements
- Inspect equipment before use and report any malfunctions or defects to the supervisor
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the crane
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or two-way radios to ensure safe movement of materials
- Plan and execute lifts based on load size, weight, balance, and site conditions
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities including lift reports, maintenance logs, and other required documentation

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Crane Operator in a construction setting
- Valid crane operator certification or license from a recognized institution
- Knowledge of crane operation techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret lift plans and blueprints
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Flexible with working hours as needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this full-time position.

Accommodation:
This is a non-accommodated position; therefore, candidates must have their own accommodation in Nizwa.

While experience is preferred for this role, we welcome freshers with relevant qualifications who are willing to learn on the job.
