Skilled Carpenter in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with experience in the construction industry to join our team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$, without accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine materials needed and dimensions of structure or fixture to be constructed
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools or power tools
- Assemble cut and shaped materials according to specifications using glue, nails, screws or staples
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings and trim using carpentry tools
- Repair or replace damaged woodwork using hand tools or power tools
- Follow all safety procedures while working on job sites

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
- Knowledge of woodworking machines and tools including hand saws, drills and sanders
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawing specifications
- Attention to detail with good measurement skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills
- Good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
