Executive Chef for Indian Restaurant in Hawalli
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at our Indian restaurant in Hawalli. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop menus that reflect authentic Indian flavors and cater to a diverse clientele
- Manage and train kitchen staff on recipes, techniques, and safety standards
- Oversee food inventory and ordering to maintain cost-effective operations
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to established standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Monitor food quality and make necessary adjustments to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends and new cooking techniques
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain a positive work environment
- Strong communication skills in English with the ability to train non-native speakers on menu items
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required
