Head Chef


We are in search of an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. You must have a passion for cooking and be able to create delicious and visually appealing dishes while adhering to food safety standards. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership skills, strong organizational abilities, and a creative mindset. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Create menus that cater to the preferences and dietary restrictions of our customers
- Oversee food preparation and ensure quality and consistency in taste and presentation
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes or improve existing ones
- Monitor food costs and make necessary adjustments to stay within budget
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a head chef or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Ability to create menus that cater to different tastes while adhering to food safety standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Creativity and willingness to experiment with new dishes
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred
