Executive Chef


We are in search of a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in Manama, Bahrain. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu planning and food preparation to staff management and budgeting. This is a hands-on position that requires creativity, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of various cooking techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative menus that showcase local flavors while meeting guest preferences and dietary restrictions
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards
- Manage inventory levels and control costs by minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency
- Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to food safety standards
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to ensure smooth operations and provide exceptional dining experiences for guests
- Stay updated on industry trends to continuously improve menu offerings and stay ahead of competition

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, flavor profiles, and presentation styles
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in budgeting and inventory management
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- Must hold relevant culinary qualifications from an accredited institution
