Head Chef
As a Head Chef at our fine dining restaurant in Manama, your culinary skills and leadership will be essential to creating an unforgettable dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, from menu planning to food preparation and presentation. Your creativity and expertise in international cuisine will elevate our menu offerings and keep our customers coming back for more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and revise menus according to seasonal availability, customer preferences, and food cost.
- Source high-quality ingredients and ensure proper inventory management.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring that all team members follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Create innovative dishes that showcase your expertise in international cuisine.
- Ensure timely execution of all food orders while maintaining high quality standards.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Continuously strive to improve kitchen operations by implementing cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international cuisine with a focus on Mediterranean flavors.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with guests, suppliers, and team members effectively.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
