Head Pastry Chef


We are in search of a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead our team at our luxury hotel in Al Buraymi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delectable desserts and pastries while also possessing strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production of all pastries and desserts for the hotel's restaurants, banquets, and room service.
- Create new pastry and dessert menus with a focus on using local, seasonal ingredients.
- Train and mentor pastry staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback for improvement.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to ensure the best quality ingredients are used.
- Manage ordering and inventory of all pastry ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry kitchen in accordance with health department standards.
- Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to create special dessert offerings for events or promotions.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or Pastry Arts is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient functions, and flavor combinations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively.
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.

Salary:
Salary for this position is $1000 per month. Additional benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career development within our company.
