Contract Accountant - Muharraq, Bahrain
We are currently hiring for a Contract Accountant to join our team in Muharraq, Bahrain. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and records of our company. As a Contract Accountant, you will work closely with our financial team to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and budgeting
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Monitor cash flow and reconcile bank statements
- Assist with tax preparation and audits
- Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision making
- Identify areas for improvement in processes or procedures related to accounting activities
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accountant
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software programs
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.
Location:
This position is based in Muharraq, Bahrain. Relocation assistance may be provided if needed.
