Land Surveyor Assistant


As a Land Surveyor Assistant, you will work closely with our team of experienced land surveyors to assist in collecting and analyzing data related to land measurements and boundaries. Your main responsibility will be to support the surveying process by setting up equipment, taking measurements, and recording data accurately. This is an entry-level position that offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of land surveying.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up surveying equipment and ensuring it is properly calibrated
- Take accurate measurements using various tools such as GPS, total stations, and levels
- Record data and observations in a detailed and organized manner
- Communicate effectively with the survey team to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior surveyors
- Familiarity with surveying software is a plus
