Barista - Coffee Specialist (Dubai)


We are a renowned coffee shop located in the bustling city of Dubai. We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team and serve our customers with the perfect cup of coffee. As a Coffee Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and serving a variety of high-quality coffee drinks, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve various types of coffee drinks such as espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, etc.
- Ensure the quality of coffee is up to our standards by properly measuring and grinding beans
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe, including equipment, workstations, and seating areas
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, handling payments, and addressing any customer concerns or complaints
- Keep track of inventory levels and place orders for supplies when necessary
- Stay up-to-date on new coffee trends and techniques to continuously improve our menu offerings
- Train new barista hires on proper techniques for making coffee drinks
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different types of coffee beans, roasts, brewing methods, etc.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English (knowledge of Arabic or Urdu is a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Salary:
1600$ per month with potential for tips.

Location:
Dubai. Candidates from Pakistan or Africa preferred but all nationalities are welcome to apply.

Accommodation:
This position does not come with accommodation. Candidates must be willing to arrange their own housing in Dubai.

Freshers:
Freshers with a passion for coffee and a willingness to learn are welcome to apply. However, some experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred.
