Courier Delivery Specialist

The Courier Delivery Specialist will be responsible for delivering packages and documents to various destinations in a safe and timely manner. This role requires a highly reliable and organized individual with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver packages and documents to designated locations within the given time frame
- Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency
- Collect necessary paperwork and obtain signatures when delivering important documents
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries made and payments received
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction with delivery services
- Report any delays or issues encountered during deliveries to the appropriate supervisor
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Prior experience in a courier or delivery role preferred
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes
- Ability to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
