Hotel Maintenance Engineer

As a Hotel Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of all equipment and facilities within the hotel. This includes conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting any issues, performing repairs and upgrades, and scheduling preventive maintenance. You will work closely with other hotel staff to ensure that guest needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and technical knowledge will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of all hotel equipment and facilities
- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical, electrical or plumbing issues
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule
- Coordinate with outside contractors for major repairs or installations
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed
- Order necessary supplies and equipment as needed
- Train other hotel staff on basic maintenance tasks as needed
- Monitor energy usage and make recommendations for efficiency improvements

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel maintenance or a similar field
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Knowledge of HVAC systems preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1400 per month
Location: Al-Rayyan
Nationality Preference: Pakistani
