Hotel Maintenance Engineer


We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Al-Rayyan. As a Hotel Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment and systems in the hotel, ensuring that they are functioning properly and safely. You will also be responsible for performing regular maintenance checks and inspections to identify any potential issues and address them in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on all equipment and systems in the hotel, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, kitchen appliances, etc.
- Perform repairs as needed to ensure proper functioning of all equipment
- Keep detailed records of maintenance performed and report any major issues to management
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system cleanings, etc.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for repairs or assistance with equipment
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and protocols
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities without disrupting hotel operations
- Proactively identify potential issues and provide solutions to prevent breakdowns or malfunctions

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or degree in engineering preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and general building maintenance
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
