Dietitian Supervisor
As a Dietitian Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of dietitians and ensuring that patients receive proper nutrition and dietary care. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized meal plans for patients based on their medical conditions and dietary needs. This position requires strong leadership skills, as well as a thorough understanding of nutrition and dietetics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of dietitians, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop individualized meal plans for patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust meal plans as needed
- Educate patients on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits
- Conduct regular audits of the dietary department to ensure compliance with regulations
- Order necessary supplies and equipment for the dietary department
- Train new dietitians on policies, procedures, and best practices
- Stay up-to-date on current research and developments in the field of nutrition
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a registered Dietitian
- Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- In-depth knowledge of nutrition principles, food safety standards, and dietary guidelines
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Valid professional license/certification in the country of employment (if applicable)
Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable depending on experience)
City: Muharraq, Bahrain
