Contract Driver


We are seeking a skilled Contract Driver to join our team in Manama. As a Contract Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods or passengers to their designated location within a specified time frame. This is a contract position, meaning that you will be hired on a temporary basis and paid an agreed upon salary of 1500$. Please note that accommodation will not be provided for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Drive company vehicles to transport goods or passengers to their designated location
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
- Maintain accurate records of pick-up and delivery times, mileage, fuel usage, and any other necessary documentation
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues before and after each trip
- Communicate with dispatchers or customers to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of goods or passengers
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for the type of vehicle(s) being operated
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a professional driver
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects if necessary
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow directions
- Familiarity with GPS devices and map reading skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred:
- Experience driving in Manama or surrounding areas
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations
