Livestock Specialist in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia


We are searching for a skilled and experienced Livestock Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the care and management of livestock on our farm. Your main duties will include monitoring animal health, providing nutrition and housing recommendations, and ensuring the proper handling and transportation of animals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular health checks on livestock and provide necessary medical treatment
- Monitor feed intake and make recommendations for optimal nutrition
- Maintain clean and hygienic living conditions for animals
- Plan and implement breeding programs to improve herd or flock productivity
- Train and supervise farm workers in proper animal handling techniques
- Ensure compliance with all animal welfare regulations
- Maintain accurate records of animal health, production, and breeding
- Oversee the transportation of animals to market or other farms

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with livestock on a farm or ranch
- Knowledge of animal health, nutrition, breeding, and handling techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills in order to effectively train and supervise farm workers

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: This position is located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Applicants must have a valid biometric passport.
