Construction Project Manager
We are currently hiring a Construction Project Manager for a full-time position in Ar Rumaythiyah, Iraq. As an experienced construction professional, the ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the construction process from planning and budgeting to project completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of workers, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards on all job sites. A biometric passport and proficiency in English are required for this role. Accommodation will be provided for the selected candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Oversee all construction activities and ensure work is completed within budget and on schedule
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project needs are met
- Manage a team of construction workers and subcontractors
- Maintain quality control and safety standards on all job sites
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure project success
- Prepare regular reports on project status and provide updates to stakeholders
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management or related role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
- Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and project management software
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the construction industry
- Biometric passport required for international travel
