Part-Time Librarian



We are hiring a part-time Librarian to join our team at the Dar Kulaib Public Library. As a Librarian, your main responsibility will be to assist patrons in finding and accessing information and resources. This position is perfect for individuals looking for a part-time role without prior experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to library users in locating materials and answering questions
- Organize and maintain the library's collection of books, magazines, and other resources
- Assist with circulation tasks such as checking out items and processing returns
- Help develop and implement library programs and services for all ages
- Handle administrative tasks such as cataloging new materials and updating records
- Ensure that the library is clean, organized, and welcoming for all visitors

Requirements:
- Biometric passport preferred (but not required)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups of people
- Passion for books, learning, and helping others access information
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience working in a library or customer service role is a plus but not necessary

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Salary will be $1200 per month.
