Carpenter - Manama, Bahrain


We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing building frameworks and structures such as walls, floors, doors, and roofs. You will work with a variety of materials including wood, metal, and concrete to create functional and aesthetically pleasing structures.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully understand project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut, shape and smooth materials using hand or power tools
- Assemble and fasten materials using various techniques such as nailing, screwing or gluing
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim and hardware
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within given timelines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in working with various tools including power saws, hammers, levels etc.
- Familiarity with woodworking techniques and construction codes
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Good understanding of basic math principles
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity for performing tasks that require bending, kneeling or standing for long periods of time
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this full-time position. Accommodation will be provided.
