Executive Chef - Mecca, Saudi Arabia


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant and ensuring the highest quality of food is consistently served to our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff in creating delicious and innovative dishes
- Plan menus and create new dishes that meet cultural and dietary requirements
- Source high-quality ingredients from local suppliers
- Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and presented according to high standards
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Manage inventory levels and control food costs without compromising on quality
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for menu improvements and cost-saving initiatives

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and international cuisines
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel chain preferred.

Salary: $1700 per month (tax-free) plus benefits including accommodation, transportation, medical insurance, and annual flight ticket.

Contract Type: This is a full-time contract job with initial visa sponsorship provided by the company.

Experience Level: This position is open to candidates without prior experience as long as they have completed formal culinary training or have relevant qualifications.

Visa Sponsorship: We are offering free visa sponsorship to candidates from Pakistani and Egyptian nationalities.

Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required for this position as it involves managing a diverse team and communicating with international guests. Knowledge of Arabic would be an advantage but not mandatory.
