Mason vacancy in Salalah Oman

Part-Time Mason

We are in need of a skilled and reliable Part-Time Mason to join our team in Salalah. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. This is a part-time position, with flexible working hours.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints or instructions to determine the materials needed for a project
- Prepare the site by setting up scaffolding and ensuring safety measures are in place
- Mix cement, sand, gravel, and water to create mortar or concrete
- Lay bricks or other materials in a specific pattern or design according to the plan
- Cut, shape, and polish stones to fit into specific areas
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in masonry work

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Knowledge of different types of building materials and their uses
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: $1600 per month (based on experience)

Location: Salalah (candidate must be willing to commute within the city)

Preference will be given to Omani nationals or candidates with valid work permits for Oman.
