Quantity Surveyor


A leading construction company in El-Ain is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for accurately estimating and managing costs on construction projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Monitor project progress and expenses, identifying any potential cost overruns
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and contractors
- Evaluate and approve change orders to ensure they are within budget
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify any issues or discrepancies
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project success
- Keep accurate records of all financial transactions related to the project
- Provide regular updates on project costs to management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Proficient in using computer software such as MS Excel, AutoCAD, or other quantity surveying tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
