Merchandiser - Muscat, Oman



We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandising strategies to increase sales and customer engagement. Your main duties will include conducting market research, analyzing trends and consumer behavior, developing product display strategies, and collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This position offers a salary of 1500$ per month without accommodation but with free visa and ticket. It is suitable for male candidates who are passionate about merchandising and have a strong understanding of the retail industry.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, preferences, and demands
- Analyze sales data to determine product performance and make recommendations for improvement
- Develop effective product display strategies to attract customers and increase sales
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and maintain inventory levels
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly
- Communicate with store managers to ensure proper implementation of merchandising plans
- Train store staff on product knowledge to ensure effective selling techniques
- Participate in store visits to assess the effectiveness of merchandising plans
- Generate reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and customer engagement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
- Proven track record of developing successful merchandising strategies
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel occasionally
