Electrician - Contract Position in Dubai

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Electrician for a contract position in Dubai. This job is suitable for men with an English speaking background, preferably from India. The candidate must have a biometric passport and be willing to work without prior experience. The salary for this position is 900$, with accommodation provided.

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various settings. This includes residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Your main duties will include but are not limited to:

- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
- Installing wiring systems according to local electrical codes.
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues such as malfunctioning equipment or faulty wiring.
- Maintaining and upgrading existing electrical systems.
- Inspecting electrical components to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
- Collaborating with other construction professionals to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of electrical theories and principles, as well as practical knowledge of tools and equipment used in the trade. You must also have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to diagnose issues accurately.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship program or relevant trade certification.
- At least 2 years of experience working as an electrician.
- Knowledge of local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor while standing, kneeling, or crouching for extended periods.
- Valid biometric passport.

This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance. You will be working full-time on a project basis with the opportunity for overtime pay. Accommodation will be provided by the company.
