Crane Operator



A reputable construction company in Muscat is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating various types of cranes, such as tower, mobile, and overhead cranes. The selected candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating the crane to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and spatial awareness.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes to lift and move heavy materials according to safety guidelines
- Inspect and maintain the crane before and after each use
- Ensure proper rigging techniques are used for lifting loads
- Communicate effectively with ground crew using hand signals or two-way radios
- Adhere to all safety regulations and site procedures at all times
- Keep accurate records of crane operations including maintenance logs and load charts

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating various types of cranes
- Valid crane operator certification from an accredited institution
- Proficient in reading load charts and calculating load capacities
- Physically fit with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Attention to detail with a focus on safety at all times

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.
