Carpenter - Contract Position



We are in need of a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Isa Town on a contract basis. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and installing wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications. This is a contract position, without accommodation provided, but with a free visa and ticket.

Your main duties will include measuring, cutting and shaping wood pieces, as well as assembling them with hand or power tools. You may also be required to install cabinetry, doors, windows and other wooden structures. Attention to detail is crucial in this role, as you will need to ensure that all measurements and cuts are accurate.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience as a Carpenter or similar role. You should also possess strong knowledge of different carpentry techniques and tools. The ability to read and interpret blueprints is also necessary.

A valid carpentry certification or apprenticeship would be advantageous but is not required. However, we do require all candidates to have good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination. The ability to work independently or as part of a team is also essential.

In this contract position, you will work full-time hours with occasional overtime as needed. You will report directly to the project supervisor or manager and will be expected to adhere to all safety regulations at all times.
