Information Security Analyst


A fast-growing Indian company in Umm-Salal is seeking an experienced and qualified Information Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting the company's sensitive information and systems from cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and implementing security measures to prevent data breaches.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential risks and recommend solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Monitor network activity for suspicious behavior and respond to security incidents
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the company's infrastructure
- Provide training and support to employees on best practices for information security
- Conduct investigations into security breaches or incidents as needed
- Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance with all necessary standards
- Work closely with external auditors during audits or assessments

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in information security or a related role
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC preferred
- Knowledge of common cyber threats and methods for preventing them
- Experience conducting risk assessments and vulnerability testing
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$ per month. Accommodation is not provided but the company will cover the cost of visa and ticket.
