Mason Supervisor


As a Mason Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of a team of masons in the construction of various structures. Your main duties will include planning and organizing work schedules, ensuring quality standards are met, and providing guidance and training to the team. This position requires strong leadership skills, as well as proficiency in masonry techniques and materials.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule daily work assignments for the mason team
- Ensure that all work is completed on time and meets quality standards
- Provide guidance and training to masons on proper techniques and safety procedures
- Order necessary materials and equipment for projects
- Monitor progress of projects to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Inspect completed work for quality control purposes
- Coordinate with other tradespeople on job sites to ensure smooth workflow
- Communicate with project managers or clients regarding any issues or concerns
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a mason or in a similar supervisory role preferred
- Proficiency in various masonry techniques such as bricklaying, stonemasonry, and plastering
- Knowledge of different types of materials used in masonry work
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to read blueprints or construction plans is an asset
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects as required by the job
-Safety conscious with knowledge of proper safety procedures
-Basic understanding of English is preferred
-Must be comfortable working at heights

Salary: 1400$ per month
