Executive Chef - Lusail, Qatar


We are a luxury hotel seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in Lusail, Qatar. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production and kitchen operations. Your main duties will include menu planning, food costing, staff training and development, and ensuring all meals are prepared to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that reflect the hotel's brand and cater to guest preferences
- Monitor food costs and control expenses while maintaining quality
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Source high-quality ingredients from local suppliers
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events and promotions
- Create new dishes and update existing menus on a regular basis

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent education/training preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and presentation styles
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proven track record in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management
- Knowledge of health codes and regulations
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings

Salary:
Salary for this position is $1500 per month.

Contract:
This is a contract position with the potential for extension based on performance.
