Instrument Technician for Oil and Gas Industry
As an Instrument Technician for the Oil and Gas industry in Al-Kuwait, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various instruments and equipment used in the production and processing of oil and gas. Your role will involve working closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all instruments are functioning properly to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, level sensors, control valves, etc.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure instruments are calibrated accurately
- Analyze instrument readings and provide recommendations for adjustments or replacements
- Collaborate with engineers to develop plans for new installations or upgrades
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities performed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the Oil and Gas industry
- Technical diploma or equivalent in Instrumentation or a related field
- Strong understanding of various types of instruments used in oil and gas production processes
- Proficient in troubleshooting techniques and use of diagnostic tools
- Knowledge of safety protocols for working with potentially hazardous materials
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Indian nationality preferred
Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Al-Kuwait (accommodation provided)
Working hours: 8 hours per day, 6 days per week (overtime may be required)
