Junior Surveyor


As a Junior Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and collecting data in the field. You will work closely with senior surveyors to assist in the preparation and completion of surveys, using various tools and technology. Your main duties will include taking measurements, recording data, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires attention to detail, good physical fitness, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. You must also possess strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients. This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates without prior experience in surveying.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior surveyors with conducting surveys using total stations, GPS equipment, and other tools
- Take accurate measurements of land features, structures, and other objects
- Record data in a timely manner using computer software or handwritten notes
- Participate in setting up survey equipment and ensuring its proper functioning
- Maintain organized records of all collected data
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project goals are met
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on site

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in surveying or related field preferred but not required
- Good physical fitness for walking long distances and carrying heavy equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data
- Proficient computer skills for data recording and analysis
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic language proficiency is a plus)
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required

Location: Muscat, Oman

Salary: 1000$ per month

Note: Candidates with their own visa will be given preference. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as this is an entry-level position suitable for those without prior experience.
