Job Title: Welder (Contract Position)

We are hiring a skilled Welder to join our team on a contract basis in Salalah. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding techniques to fabricate and repair metal structures and equipment. This is a full-time position with no accommodation provided, therefore the ideal candidate should already have their own visa and accommodation in Salalah.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the layout and materials required for welding
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect workpieces for accuracy and defects before, during, and after the welding process
- Repair broken or damaged metal parts using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or Stick welding
- Clean and maintain welding equipment regularly to ensure proper functioning
- Follow all safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
