Librarian

A reputable library in Lusail is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Librarian to join our team. This position is open to individuals of Pakistani nationality who are fluent in English and looking for a part-time job without experience. Accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the organization and maintenance of library materials, including books, periodicals, electronic resources, and audiovisual materials
- Develop and implement library policies and procedures
- Assist patrons with finding and accessing information resources
- Plan and conduct library programs, events, and workshops to promote literacy and community engagement
- Collaborate with other library staff to provide high-quality customer service
- Keep up-to-date with new developments in the field of librarianship

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using library management systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Prior experience working in a library setting is preferred but not required
