Instrument Technician

We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Muscat on a contract basis. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial processes, ensuring their proper functioning and accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and level indicators.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the accuracy and proper functioning of instruments.
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and make necessary repairs or replacements.
- Calibrate instruments according to specifications.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and calibrations.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient operation of instruments.
- Adhere to safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician.
- Technical diploma or relevant certification in instrumentation or a related field.
- Knowledge of various types of instruments used in industrial processes.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic systems.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.

Preferred:
- Experience working on oil rigs or in the oil industry.
- Knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).

Salary: 1300$ per month
