Instrument Technician



We are a leading company in the oil and gas industry, located in Al-Khor, Qatar. We are currently seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team of professionals. As an instrument technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in our production processes.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, level indicators, etc.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments and control systems to ensure smooth operation of production processes.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals to understand instrument specifications and operating procedures.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and implement improvements in instrument systems.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry.
- Diploma or certificate in Instrumentation or a related field.
- Knowledge of various types of instruments used in industrial environments.
- Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) is preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary: 1600$ per month

This is a full-time position with regular working hours. Accommodation will not be provided by the company. Preference will be given to Indian nationals with valid work permits for Qatar.
