Long Haul Truck Driver

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across long distances, typically between cities or states. Your main duty will be to operate a large commercial truck and safely deliver goods to their designated destinations. This is a physically demanding job that requires driving for extended periods of time, often in varying weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a large commercial truck to transport goods and materials
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and its cargo
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers to coordinate deliveries
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, miles traveled, fuel consumption, etc.
- Perform minor maintenance on the truck as needed
- Report any accidents or incidents immediately to the supervisor

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a long haul truck driver
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work long hours and be away from home for extended periods of time

Salary:
$1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location:
Bayan, Kuwait

Preference will be given to Pakistani candidates already residing in Kuwait with own visa. This is a full-time position with the potential for overtime pay. Please note that English proficiency is not required for this job.
