Executive Chef
We are looking for an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team in the beautiful city of Nizwa. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring high-quality food standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and unique menus that cater to a diverse customer base
- Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high-quality food standards
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
- Oversee inventory management to ensure sufficient supplies are available at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events or catering services
- Conduct regular quality checks to maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Manage budgeting and cost control measures to meet financial targets
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into menu planning
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with different departments
- Creativity and innovation in menu planning and execution
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
