Registered Dietitian - Salalah, Oman


As a Registered Dietitian in Salalah, Oman, you will be responsible for providing nutrition counseling and education to clients in order to help them achieve their health and wellness goals. You will work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, assessing their dietary needs and creating personalized meal plans. Your role will involve conducting individual and group sessions, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for your clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments and provide individualized nutrition counseling based on client's health goals and medical history
- Create personalized meal plans that meet the clients' nutritional needs and preferences
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans
- Provide education on healthy eating habits, portion control, food labels, and other nutrition-related topics
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients with complex medical conditions
- Keep accurate records of client consultations, progress notes, and any relevant information
- Stay up-to-date with current research and trends in the field of nutrition

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field from an accredited university
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian
- Must be a registered member of the Oman Dietetic Association or equivalent professional body
- Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for various health conditions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Salalah, Oman. Relocation assistance is not provided.
