Part-time Phlebotomist


We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As a part-time Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and ensuring their safe and accurate transportation to the lab for testing.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and explain the blood draw process
- Identify the correct venipuncture site based on patient's age, health status, and lab test requirements
- Sterilize the site and draw blood using proper techniques
- Label and properly store collected samples for transportation
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and test results
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure patient comfort and prevent infection
- Adhere to all privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program
- Valid certification in phlebotomy from a recognized institution
- Previous experience in phlebotomy is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (preferred)
- Ability to work part-time hours, including weekends if needed
- Physically able to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks
