Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Al Ahmadi, Kuwait)

As an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine, you will oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations at our high-end restaurant in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. Your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain an authentic Indian menu that meets the standards of our discerning clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an extensive menu featuring traditional and modern Indian dishes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
- Source and purchase high-quality ingredients while maintaining budgetary constraints
- Oversee inventory and manage food costs to ensure profitability
- Create specials and seasonal menus to keep offerings fresh and exciting for customers
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with management to develop marketing strategies to attract new customers

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Proven track record of creating successful Indian menus in high-end restaurants
- Excellent knowledge of authentic Indian cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Proficiency in managing inventory, food costs, and budgets
- Understanding of health codes and regulations related to food service operations
- Experience with developing marketing strategies is a plus

We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this contract position. As this is a contract job, accommodation will not be provided. However, we do offer visa sponsorship for qualified candidates. This position is urgent so we are looking for someone who can start immediately.
