Executive Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant



We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef to lead our fine dining restaurant in Muscat. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu creation, food preparation, and kitchen staff management. Our ideal candidate has a passion for culinary excellence and a proven track record in high-end or Michelin-starred restaurants.

Responsibilities:
- Create seasonal menus that showcase local ingredients and reflect the restaurant's concept
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely service
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
- Maintain food cost and inventory control to meet budget targets
- Implement proper sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery to guests
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into menu development

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end or Michelin-starred restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Proven track record of creating innovative menus that align with the restaurant's concept
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food cost control, inventory management, and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this position.

Location:
Our fine dining restaurant is located in Muscat, the capital city of Oman.

Benefits:
This is a full-time position without accommodation. However, we provide free visa sponsorship and air ticket upon successful completion of probationary period.
