Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our accounting team in Muscat. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, processing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone looking to start their career in accounting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end close procedures
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Help ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and other departments as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Prior experience in accounting or finance is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Must have free visa and ticket to work in Muscat
