Chef de Cuisine


We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at our fine dining restaurant in Muharraq. As the head chef, you will oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff management.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create innovative and high-quality dishes for our restaurant’s menu
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation
- Manage inventory and order supplies to maintain efficient operations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in accordance with restaurant standards
- Monitor food costs and create cost-effective menus without compromising quality
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Implement new recipes or menu items as needed to keep the menu fresh and exciting.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.

Education:
A degree or certification in culinary arts is preferred but not required. However, relevant experience will be taken into consideration.

Language:
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Nationality:
Preference will be given to candidates from Bahrain or other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1500 per month with the potential for growth based on performance.

City:
This position is based in Muharraq, Bahrain. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not currently living in Muharraq.
