Senior IT Manager - Umm-Salal, Qatar



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Manager to lead our growing team in Umm-Salal, Qatar. As a Senior IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall IT operations of our company, ensuring the smooth functioning of all systems and applications.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies and policies to support the company's goals
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the company's technology infrastructure
- Ensure the security of all systems and data through regular backups and updates
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in the industry to make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs and provide solutions
- Prepare budget proposals for hardware, software, and other technology investments

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an IT Manager or similar role
- Experience in managing a team of IT professionals
- Strong knowledge of network administration, security protocols, and data backup/recovery methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred:
- Experience working in Africa or with African organizations
- Familiarity with Malayalee culture or language
- Fluent English speaking skills
- Experience working with biometric passport systems

Salary: $1100/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Umm-Salal, Qatar
