Art Director for a Malayalee Magazine in Al-Khor, Qatar

We are hiring an experienced Art Director for our Malayalee magazine in Al-Khor, Qatar. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in designing and overseeing the layout and visual appearance of print and digital publications. They should possess strong artistic and creative skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with editorial team to plan and execute visual content for the magazine
- Design layouts for print and digital publications, including cover designs and page layouts
- Select appropriate images, graphics, and fonts to enhance the overall look of the magazine
- Oversee the work of graphic designers, photographers, and other team members involved in creating visual content
- Ensure that all design elements adhere to brand guidelines and standards
- Stay updated on industry trends to incorporate fresh ideas into the design process
- Manage budget constraints while maintaining high-quality design standards

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Art Director or in a similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in print or digital publications
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and Malayalam preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience working with a team of designers
- Knowledge of typography, layout principles, color theory, and other design fundamentals
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or Graphic Design preferred
