Job Title: Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Muharraq. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing accurate financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, excellent mathematical and analytical skills, and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements on a monthly basis
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify discrepancies or issues
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Participate in the preparation of financial reports for management meetings
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial procedures and streamline processes
- Maintain complete and organized records of all financial transactions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role (minimum 2 years)
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS preferred)
- Strong mathematical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using accounting software (Quickbooks preferred)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
