Instrument Technician
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Hawalli. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial and manufacturing settings. This includes but is not limited to pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and control valves. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and experience with troubleshooting equipment failures. This position requires attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. The salary for this position is 1400$, with no English language requirement or need for prior experience. Accommodation will not be provided for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instruments used in industrial settings
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform necessary repairs
- Calibrate instruments according to specifications
- Ensure all instruments are functioning properly and meet safety standards
- Keep accurate records of instrument maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and instrumentation principles
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical degree in instrumentation or related field
- Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of PLC programming
- Familiarity with safety regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
