Quantity Surveyor

A reputable construction company in Ajman is seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in quantity surveying and cost management. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for potential projects
- Preparing detailed bills of quantities and tender documents
- Evaluating and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Monitoring project costs and providing regular cost reports to management
- Identifying potential cost savings or risks during the project lifecycle
- Ensuring that all work carried out meets legal requirements and health & safety standards
- Liaising with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using relevant software programs such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
