Librarian - English Speaking (Contract)
City: El-Ain, Egypt


We are seeking an experienced Librarian to join our team in El-Ain. As an English-speaking Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library resources, cataloging new materials, and assisting patrons with research inquiries. This is a contract position with a salary of $1500 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the library collection of books, journals, and other materials
- Catalog new acquisitions using the Dewey Decimal System
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide guidance on how to use library resources effectively
- Develop and implement programs and activities to promote reading and literacy
- Monitor library budget and make recommendations for purchasing new materials
- Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum needs and assist in creating reading lists for students

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Librarian
- Fluency in English is required
- Experience using the Dewey Decimal System
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preference will be given to candidates who possess their own visa or are eligible to work in Egypt. This position is open to all nationalities but preference will also be given to women.
