Head Chef



We are in search of a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team at our restaurant located in Isa Town. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes that meet our standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and create new menu items while keeping in mind dietary restrictions, customer preferences, and cost-effective pricing
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation by maintaining high levels of quality control
- Manage inventory levels and order necessary supplies to maintain stock
- Monitor food costs and work with management to develop cost-saving strategies
- Oversee food safety procedures to maintain compliance with health codes
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen space at all times

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or relevant role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively train and manage staff members
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques, sanitation practices, and inventory management
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing new dishes that appeal to a diverse clientele
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members from various departments

Education/Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting.

Salary: $1500 per month.
